Spitpainting

So there's this thing called "Spitpainting" that's been getting big lately. It's a group on Facebook in which members can choose from around three or four given topics and then do a 30 minute painting on it. You cannot use any photos at all, and you can't go overtime.

Here's one I did a few days ago. The topic was "Shogun". I added a small lighting tweak to it here that wasn't in the 30 minute version I turned in.

Small post I know, but I'll be doing more of these in the future.

A Post for the Sake of Posting

Some old stuff - just because it's been, well, about 10 months since I last posted anything. I did these 30-45 minute paintings during the summer.

Also, here's a more recent sketchdump that I uploaded in September on Deviantart. I figured I ought to post it here too. It features life drawings, tiger drawings from class, and other random oddities.

 I've been drawing way more these last couple of months than I think I ever have before. None of this is super recent or anything, but there'll more to come soon to make up for it! I hope to start posting regularly from now on, so we'll see how that goes.
